Broadridge Financial Solutions Inc. (NYSE: BR) announced a strategic partnership and minority investment in Uptiq, an artificial intelligence platform for financial services. The partnership integrates Uptiq's technology into Broadridge's Wealth Lending Network to automate securities-based lending workflows for financial advisors and banks.
The integration provides financial advisors with AI-powered tools to source and compare loan options, automate referral submissions, loan processing, and covenant tracking. Broadridge's Wealth Lending Network connects wealth managers and financial advisors with lenders that extend securities-based lines of credit, particularly for firms not affiliated with banks.
"This strategic partnership helps modernize wealth management, addressing the growing demand for artificial intelligence in financial services, as well as a need to develop a better wealth lending process that is efficient, compliant and personalized," said Mike Alexander, President of Wealth Management at Broadridge.
Uptiq's platform uses AI to surface loan options and guide advisors through lending processes. "Our AI-driven platform surfaces the most relevant loan options, actively guiding advisors so they can focus on serving clients instead of wrestling with process complexities," said Snehal Fulzele, Founder and CEO of Uptiq.
Broadridge processes over 7 billion communications annually and supports daily trading averaging more than $15 trillion in equities and fixed income trades. The company employs over 15,000 associates across 21 countries and is part of the S&P 500 Index.
The partnership aims to reduce complexity in wealth lending by combining Broadridge's network infrastructure with Uptiq's AI capabilities to streamline securities-based lending services.
