Amazon partners with Netflix to offer ad inventory through DSP platform
Amazon Ads and Netflix announced a partnership providing advertisers using Amazon DSP direct access to Netflix's ad inventory. The integration will launch in Q4 2025 across 11 countries including the United States, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Mexico, Canada, Japan, Brazil, Italy, Germany and Australia.
The partnership allows marketers using Amazon's Demand-Side Platform to purchase advertising space on Netflix's streaming service. Amazon DSP is a programmatic advertising platform that enables automated ad buying and campaign management.
"We're delighted to enter into this partnership with Netflix, enabling brands to reach their subscribers and extensive library of premium content with Amazon DSP," said Paul Kotas, Senior Vice President of Amazon Ads.
Amy Reinhard, President of Advertising at Netflix, stated the partnership "perfectly aligns with our commitment of bringing advertisers even greater flexibility in their buys to achieve their marketing goals."
Amazon DSP uses first-party data and artificial intelligence for automated campaign planning, buying and measurement. The platform aims to connect advertisers with Netflix's subscriber base through the streaming service's content library.
The announcement expands Netflix's advertising distribution channels while providing Amazon DSP users access to streaming television inventory. Both companies indicated plans to develop additional capabilities through the partnership over time.
