This Dallas-based company is an owner of producing and non-producing crude oil and natural gas mineral, royalty, overriding royalty, net profits, and leasehold interests. The stock price is up 16.35% from the day we first recommended it, and is up nearly 70% year-to-date.� As a Limited Partnership, capital gains for this dividend stock are factored differently, so please consult with a tax advisor before investing.
Worthington Industries - $22.72 (NYSE: WOR) - has a market cap of $1.89 billion, currently yields 3.1%, and has attained a Dividend.com rating of 3.8 out of 5 stars. This steel processing company recorded $146 million in profit on $2.9 billion in revenue for its latest fiscal year ended May 31. The stock price is up 16.07% since we recommended it several weeks ago, and is up nearly 30% for the year.
Only time will tell if these companies can sustain the sort of growth we’ve witnessed recently. As for now, we’re recommending them both as solid dividend stock plays.
