Whirlpool (WHR) Exec Says Co. Seeing US Demand at Recessionary Levels

On its Q3 conference call, a Whirlpool (NYSE: WHR) exec has just said US demand appears to be at recessionary levels. The exec also said the company expects to implement price increases and reducing manufacturing capacity by about 6 million units. Sees material costs remaining at elevated levels.
