Oil stocks were on watch Friday as WTI traded below $55 per barrel, near year-to-date lows at $54. The post-holiday session was thin, and weakness was seen through the sector in both E&P and services names.
Decliners included Weatherford Intl., Ltd. (NYSE: WFT), Basic Energy Services (NYSE: BAS), Halliburton (NYSE: HAL), Petrobras (NYSE: PBR), Sandridge Energy (NYSE: SD), Range Resources (NYSE: RRC), and others.
