Gold bulls are loving the fact that Fed Ben Bernanke appears to have referenced his 2002 'helicopter Ben' speech in his Jackson Hole speech today.
"Early in my tenure as a member of the Board of Governors, I gave a speech that considered options for monetary policy when the short-term policy interest rate is close to its effective lower bound," the Chairman said.
As gold bugs know, dropping money from the sky is all the more bullish for the precious metal.
SPDR Gold Shares (NYSE: GLD) is up 1.3 percent to $162.59
