Barclays Lowers 2012 Forecast on Brent/WTI (USO) (OIL)
In a note today, Barclays lowered their 2012 forecast on WTI to $90.60 from a previous forecast of $95.77. The bank also lowered its 2012 forecast for Brent to $103.50 from $110.
WTI futures trade at just under $90 per barrel at 89.06. Brent trades at $104.77 per barrel.
United States Oil ETF (NYSE: USO) is lower by nearly 16 percent year-to-date. However, prices have rallied in the past month and are higher by 6.6 percent.
