Werner Associate Named a 2023 Heavy Duty Trucking Emerging Leader

OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Werner Enterprises (Nasdaq: WERN), a premier transportation and logistics provider, announces Caty Simandl, operations supervisor, was selected as a 2023 recipient of Heavy Duty Trucking’s Emerging Leaders award.

As operations supervisor, Simandl coaches a team of dedicated logistics managers, leads strategy and manages relationships with clients, and ensures customer satisfaction by building custom freight solutions. Simandl leads by example through her active involvement in several of Werner’s Associate Resource Groups, where she creates meaningful connections and makes a difference through leadership roles.

Heavy Duty Trucking’s Emerging Leaders award honors young professionals who are influential, innovative and successful, who have a passion for the transportation industry and can point to outstanding accomplishments while displaying leadership qualities.
