Vecima at Tech Expo 2026 Diamond Technology Awards Honors
Each solution received a four-diamond rating:
- Entra vCMTS – SDN/NFV/Cloud Category
- Entra vPON Manager for XGS-PON Platform – FTTH/Optical Access Platforms Category
- Entra Access Simulators – Monitoring & Analysis Category
“Receiving Diamond Tech Review honors across three cable, fiber, and network analysis broadband platforms reflects the industry-leading work our teams continually bring to bear throughout the Entra portfolio,” said Ryan Nicometo, Chief Product Officer at Vecima Networks. “We’re focused on practical technology that gives operators more flexibility, makes deployments easier, and helps them manage increasingly complex networks.”
Entra vCMTS is a cloud-native, fully containerized platform that supports cable operators as they move from DOCSIS® 3.1 to DOCSIS 4.0 and beyond. Its open, software-based architecture offers greater deployment flexibility and simplifies the operation of distributed access networks.
Vecima recently announced that Canadian telecommunications provider Videotron selected the Entra vCMTS, the EN9000 Generic Access Platform (GAP) Node, and the ERM3 series Remote PHY Devices (RPDs) for its next-generation DOCSIS network.
Entra vPON Manager for XGS-PON extends Vecima’s cloud-native orchestration capabilities to XGS-PON and All-PON™ networks for fiber-to-the-home. It brings subscriber management, provisioning, monitoring, and operations into one platform, helping service providers scale fiber deployments and prepare for future PON technologies.
Entra Access Simulators work with the Entra Access Test Platform to let operators simulate production-scale broadband networks in a virtual environment. Teams can validate complex changes before they reach the field, reducing testing time and cost while improving deployment confidence.
“Broadband networks are becoming more software-defined, distributed, and multi-vendor, so operators need tools that make those environments easier to manage,” added Mr. Nicometo. “This recognition reflects our approach in helping customers address today’s requirements without limiting where they can go next.”
The Lightwave Diamond Technology Reviews honor innovation in broadband communications and related technologies. An independent panel of industry experts evaluates entries for technical features, performance, innovation, and value to broadband operators.
