Trammell Crow Residential Breaks Ground on Alexan Worcester
The 220-unit multifamily community provides immediate access to the vibrant and growing City of Worcester, UMass Memorial Medical Center, and MetroWest Boston.
WORCESTER, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Trammell Crow Residential (“TCR”), the multifamily development platform of Crow Holdings, announced construction has commenced on its latest project from the TCR Northeast Division, Alexan Worcester. TCR will serve as both the developer and general contractor on the 220-unit project with first move-ins expected in early 2026.
Upon completion, Alexan Worcester will feature two, five-story, elevator-serviced buildings with apartments ranging from studios to three-bedrooms. Units will be equipped with TCR’s luxury, Alexan-brand finishes featuring stainless-steel appliances, wood-style plank flooring, in-unit washers and dryers, and spacious walk-in closets. Community amenities will include a resort-style pool adjacent to an outdoor lounge and patio, resident clubhouse complete with a gourmet kitchen and gaming room, fitness center with cardio and strength equipment, dog park with pet wash station, and more.
Elevated high above nearby Lake Quinsigamond, Alexan Worcester’s convenient location off Lincoln Street will provide residents with a serene setting and excellent connectivity throughout Worcester and MetroWest Boston. Worcester’s top employers, including UMass Memorial Health, Saint Vincent Hospital, and Hanover Insurance Group, and top-tier higher-education institutions, such as UMass Chan Medical School, Holy Cross University, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute, are accessible within a short morning commute.
