Partnership supercharges Nevvon’s role as critical infrastructure for the home care workforce; company also launches TrainOnce, letting caregivers carry completed compliance training with them as they increasingly move between agencies and payors

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Nevvon, the compliance and training infrastructure behind the home care and self-directed care workforce, today announced a strategic investment from BVP Forge, the private equity arm of Bessemer Venture Partners that focuses on growth-oriented, self-sustaining technology and B2B services businesses. Alongside the investment, Nevvon launched TrainOnce, a new solution powered by the platform’s network effects. As more caregivers and agencies join Nevvon, the platform allows completed compliance training to be used across agencies, respecting caregivers’ time and preserving agency resources.

The investment will help Nevvon expand its platform, deepen its work with payors and self-directed care programs, and reach more caregivers across the United States, as more of this workforce moves between agencies and into self-directed arrangements where individuals manage their own caregiving. Nevvon's management team will continue to lead the company, and its day-to-day relationships with agencies, caregivers, and channel partners remain unchanged.

The company’s success to date is part of what drew BVP Forge to Nevvon: caregivers have completed more than 57 million lessons on the platform to date across more than 650,000 caregivers, with a compliance and audit framework that spans all 50 states. Nevvon’s national network of caregivers has grown more than 300% in the past five years alone.

“We built Nevvon because caregivers and the agencies that employ them deserve better infrastructure than what the industry has offered,” said James Cohen, CEO of Nevvon. “Partnering with BVP Forge lets us continue to scale for the caregivers and agencies who depend on us. Forge understood our mission from the first conversation: better training, better compliance, better care. That remains our focus.”

As part of this next chapter, Nevvon is addressing a problem every agency knows well: a caregiver who moves between agencies, or who works for more than one, often must repeat training they've already completed. It costs the caregiver unpaid hours, it costs the agency onboarding time, and it delays the moment a caregiver can start seeing clients. With TrainOnce, compliance training completed on Nevvon now counts wherever a caregiver works next, without lowering the compliance bar. With its extended national reach of 650,000 caregivers on its platform, Nevvon is uniquely positioned to bring this offering to the market, strengthening the leading caregiver network it has built over seven years.

TrainOnce is built on top of Nevvon's extensive existing footprint. The company has built deep concentration in the geographies where caregivers most often move between agencies and fiscal intermediaries, and some of the largest, most compliance-driven home care organizations in the country already run their training on Nevvon. Through its channel partnerships and integrations, the company reaches agencies inside the systems they already use to schedule, bill, and stay audit-ready, and its curriculum is built to track training requirements as they shift state by state and year by year.

“Nevvon sits at the nexus of the hardest problems in home care: helping agencies and payors keep up with a complex, ever-changing regulatory landscape without slowing down care or compromising outcomes,” said Navid Oreizy, Partner at BVP Forge. “We were drawn to a company that has an exceptional reputation as the most innovative and AI-forward compliance infrastructure for the homecare industry, with a roadmap to extend its presence across the continuum of care. We are excited to bring the capabilities of BVP Forge and our ForgeEdge™ scaling resources to back Nevvon's next chapter.”
