Nautilus Insurance Group Announces New Vice President of Business Development

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Nautilus Insurance Group, a Berkley Company, announces the appointment of Donald (Donny) DeMent as Vice President of Business Development.

Mr. DeMent brings decades of underwriting, management, and market relations experience within the Excess and Surplus lines industry. His forward-thinking approach has propelled him into increasingly responsible positions throughout his career, culminating with his new role at Nautilus.

Donny has served his country as a United States Marine Corps Reservist, earned his bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from The Ohio State University and has achieved Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU), and Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) designations. He is an active member of the WSIA (Wholesale and Specialty Insurance Association) Career Development Committees, and has contributed content to The Institute’s continuing education courses.
