High Side Technology Achieves Final CMMC Level 2 Certification

CHARLESTON, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- High Side Technology, Inc. (HST) has achieved Final Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 status following a formal assessment conducted by Kratos Technology & Training Solutions, Inc., a certified CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO).

The assessment validated that HST has implemented all 110 security requirements of the National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication (NIST SP) 800-171 within the environment used to store, process, and transmit Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). HST achieved Final Level 2 (C3PAO) status with no outstanding Plan of Action and Milestones items. The certification is recorded in the Supplier Performance Risk System and is valid for three years, subject to annual affirmation.

Under the CMMC Program Final Rule (32 CFR Part 170) and the corresponding DFARS acquisition rule, an increasing proportion of Department of War (DoW) contracts involving CUI require offerors to hold valid Level 2 certification at the time of award, with flow-down obligations to subcontractors. Certification has become a condition of eligibility rather than a competitive differentiator. While the DoW suspended the Level 2 requirement in July 2026, HST made it a priority to continue pursuing final certification.
