GuidePoint Security Promotes Mark Thornberry to Chief Business Officer

Expanded Role Builds on Thornberry’s Channel Leadership to Support GuidePoint’s Continued Growth

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GuidePoint Security, the cybersecurity advisor organizations rely on to protect what matters most, today announced the promotion of Mark Thornberry to Chief Business Officer (CBO). He previously served as Senior Vice President of Partnerships.

Thornberry will continue to lead GuidePoint's channel and strategic vendor partnerships while taking a broader role in company strategy and cross-functional growth. As CBO, he will oversee GuidePoint’s relationships with leading AI platforms to develop new opportunities for customers. He will also drive the company’s hyperscaler and cloud alliances, evaluate new routes to market and deepen relationships across the venture capital and private equity ecosystem to identify new technologies and expand GuidePoint’s contributions to the cybersecurity landscape.

He currently serves on several partner advisory boards, helping industry executives shape channel strategy and go-to-market operations.
