Glenmede Appoints Christian Tynan as Director of Institutional Operations

Bringing Decades of Strategic Operational Experience to the Firm

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Glenmede, a privately held and independently owned investment and wealth management firm, today announced the appointment of Christian Tynan, CFA® as Director of Institutional Operations, reporting to Jeffrey Semmer, Director of Strategic Initiatives. In this new position, Mr. Tynan will be responsible for overseeing operational processing, including institutional reporting and account administration, for the firm’s Endowment & Foundation clients. Additionally, as a member of Glenmede’s Technology and Operations Management Committee, his perspective will influence strategic technology and operational process decisions.

Prior to joining Glenmede, Mr. Tynan was Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer at Edgehill Endowment Partners LLC, where he helped lead the design, implementation and improvement of the operational, compliance and business functions of the firm.

Mr. Tynan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Fairfield University. He is a board member of Archbishop Molloy High School, where he serves on both the Executive and Investment committees.
