FTK Completes Beaumont, TX, LIHTC Project

ALLEN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- FTK Construction Services, a full-service General Contractor specializing in Affordable Housing/LIHTC projects nationwide, has completed the LIHTC preservation project for Seville Apartments in Beaumont, Texas. Seville Apartments is a 90-unit affordable housing community built in 1980. The total contract value for the rehabilitation of the property was $4,770,588, with the project duration of 12 months. The property is owned by Steele Properties, with property management overseen by their sister company Monroe Group Ltd. The architect for the project was Benton Design Group (BDG), and the lender was Ready Capital.

The preservation project at this property included both interior and exterior renovations. Specific enhancements included new flooring, paint, appliances, countertops, cabinets and bathroom upgrades including new shower surrounds. Other updates were full siding replacement to the patios, new climate control systems, new picnic areas, the community room, computer room and other various site improvements.
