Top 10 public accounting firm expands services in Northern California with emphasis on serving clients in the tech industry

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- FORVIS, a leading national accounting and consulting firm, is bolstering its presence on the West Coast with an expansion into the San Francisco Bay Area. This is FORVIS’ second California market, as the firm also has a presence in the Los Angeles area.

FORVIS will provide full-service tax, assurance, and consulting services to a wide range of clients in this region, introducing its focus on delivering an Unmatched Client Experience® thanks to the backing of more than 6,000 dedicated team members across the country. The office will serve clients across Northern California, including publicly traded and private equity-backed companies, with an early emphasis on the technology, life sciences, and media sectors.

FORVIS is the eighth largest public accounting firm in the United States, with offices in 70 locations across the country. The firm has tapped three veteran professionals to lead growth efforts in the region. Partner Ricardo Martinez will serve as the Northern California Market Leader and California Technology & Services Market Industry Leader for FORVIS. Director Trevor Coe and Senior Manager Adam Travaglione will also support the firm’s client service and growth efforts in Northern California. The three have more than 45 years of combined experience and deep roots in the region. FORVIS is actively recruiting for additional roles on the San Francisco Bay Area team as well.

About the Team

Ricardo Martinez began his career with the technology industry audit group of an international accounting firm in 1998, serving large, multinational organizations. In 2010, he moved to a national firm where he continued to serve public and private technology companies and held leadership roles in the firm’s technology group and audit practice. He is a member of CalCPA, where he serves on the Accounting Principles and Assurance Services subcommittee, as well as the AICPA.

Trevor Coe is a director serving clients in the technology and manufacturing sectors. He has more than 10 years of experience leading integrated and multinational audits of publicly traded and privately held companies. Before joining FORVIS, he was a senior manager with a large national firm serving both public and privately held companies in the technology and manufacturing sectors.

Adam Travaglione is a senior audit manager with nine years of public and private accounting experience. He has significant experience helping clients through major transactions such as initial public offerings, acquisitions, and major financing transactions. Prior to public accounting, Travaglione worked for a large SaaS company, where he specialized in transactions related to revenue recognition and ERP systems implementations
