Duane Compton, Program Manager - Engineering, Evers & Sons Inc.

Compton’s career spans more than 30 years of leadership in the U.S. Army and across the energy and infrastructure industries. He has led new construction and major upgrade projects involving natural gas processing facilities, pipelines and gathering systems, refineries, hydrogen and ammonia facilities, oil infrastructure and renewable energy. His work has covered the full project lifecycle, from development and engineering through construction, startup and commissioning, with responsibility for multidisciplinary teams, project controls, scheduling, budgeting and risk management. He has also managed pipeline well-connect programs and supported early-stage engineering and design efforts for large-scale hydrogen and ammonia projects.

Earlier in his career, Compton supported the National Science Foundation’s infrastructure program at McMurdo Station in Antarctica, serving in project management and controls roles for major power, water and fuel storage system upgrades. He holds an MBA in Project Management from Colorado Technical University, a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

As Program Manager, Compton will lead and support the planning, coordination and execution of Evers & Sons’ engineering projects. His addition strengthens the company’s growing engineering capabilities and supports the continued development of its integrated project approach.
