EarthTraq Demonstrates Tens-of-Meters RF Geolocation from Orbit with Four-Satellite Cluster

ET-01 demonstrates EarthTraq’s integrated space-based localization system as the company prepares two additional missions for early 2027

SAN CARLOS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- EarthTraq Corporation today announced that its four-satellite ET-01 mission has localized a ground-based RF source to within tens of meters. The result demonstrates the core capability behind EarthTraq’s space-based RF geolocation system.

Launched in July 2026 aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-17 mission, all four ET-01 spacecraft have been commissioned and are operating in low Earth orbit. Together, they form EarthTraq’s first deployed orbital cluster.

ET-01 combines EarthTraq’s in-house spacecraft, RF systems, compute, flight software and ground infrastructure into a vertically integrated system purpose-built for space-based geolocation. The company designs, manufactures and operates its own custom-form-factor spacecraft, allowing it to optimize performance and advance the capability across successive missions.

EarthTraq is on schedule for two additional launches in early 2027. The ET-02 and ET-03 missions will deploy eight additional spacecraft.
