Ci Design, Inc. Partners with Ypsomed on Landmark US Manufacturing Facility

HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Ci Design, Inc. is working with Ypsomed to bring its first US-based advanced manufacturing facility to Holly Springs, North Carolina. Currently under construction, the facility will expand the company’s production of self-injection systems for the global healthcare market.

Headquartered in Burgdorf, Switzerland, Ypsomed employs more than 2,000 people. The 160,000-square-foot North American facility will offer significant growth opportunities in the coming years, serving as a GMP medical device production center designed to meet increasing global demand for self-care solutions.

The new facility will feature a modern workplace that prioritizes operational efficiency, a high-quality work environment and collaboration with thoughtfully designed production, support and amenity spaces. The project is targeting LEED Gold certification, aligning with Ypsomed's broader sustainability objectives and commitment to responsible development.

Located within one of the nation's fastest-growing life sciences corridors, the facility will benefit from direct access to the highly skilled workforce emerging from North Carolina's leading universities and technical programs.
