Brent Ekstrom Re-appointed to FHLB Des Moines Advisory Council
DES MOINES, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines) recently re-appointed Brent Ekstrom, executive director, Lewis & Clark Development Group, to its Affordable Housing Advisory Council (Advisory Council) representing the state of North Dakota. Ekstrom begins his three-year term on January 1, 2024.

Since 2001, Ekstrom has worked for Lewis & Clark Development Group where he has served as executive director since 2014. The Lewis and Clark Development Group is a collaboration of three separate nonprofit organizations, joined to provide programs and loans to support businesses, local governments and individuals in expanding affordable housing opportunities and advancing economic development across North Dakota.
In addition, Ekstrom serves on several boards and committees, including the National NeighborWorks Association Board, Midwest Minnesota Community Development Corporation New Markets Tax Credit Advisory Board and the Native American Development Center loan committee.
Ekstrom has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Minot State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Dakota.
