Former Meta technical partnerships leader and Security Industry Association board member joins as Alcatraz AI scales across data centers, enterprise access and executive protection

CUPERTINO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Alcatraz AI today announced the hiring of Bobby Louissaint as its first Head of Business Development, a newly created role tasked with scaling the company's presence across data centers, AI infrastructure, enterprise access and executive protection.

Louissaint joins Alcatraz AI from Meta, where he served as Head of Technical Partnership Engagement within Global Systems Services & Technology. Earlier in his career, he held executive roles at ADT, Tyco and Johnson Controls — long-established names in access control — and at Ambient AI, giving him a working view of both legacy badge-based systems and AI-native security technology.

Louissaint is a recognized leader in the physical security industry. He currently serves on the board of the Security Industry Association (SIA) and was chair of SPARC, SIA's Technical End User Forum, a steering committee whose members include security leaders from Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Disney and TikTok.

"I've led technical evaluations as both an integrator and end user for hyperscale enterprise operations my whole career, putting the world's leading security products through their paces. What's clear is we need access control to control access. Tailgating is the most challenging issue in physical security, and after evaluating countless biometric solutions, Alcatraz AI stood out as the clear game-changer. Alcatraz seamlessly balances pure security with uncompromised privacy. I couldn't be more excited to join the team and advance this mission."

— Bobby Louissaint, Head of Business Development, Alcatraz AI

Alcatraz AI has emerged as a category leader in the sectors where security standards are highest and certifications hardest to earn: hyperscale data centers, financial institutions, airports, and nuclear and energy infrastructure. Its client base extends beyond hyperscalers to Fortune 100 companies, universities, hospitals, professional sports teams in the NFL and NBA, and wealthy private individuals.

More than half of the roughly 17 hyperscale data center operators headquartered in the United States now rely on Alcatraz AI to secure physical access to their facilities, underscoring how critical the company's technology has become as this infrastructure grows more mission-critical.

"As Alcatraz's growth explodes in AI infrastructure and data centers, Bobby's experience leading technical partnerships at Meta means he has worked directly with hyperscalers on some of the most demanding security requirements in the industry. His expertise is an important value add. He also brings relationships across enterprise access and executive protection that will help us grow across every vertical we serve. As a sitting board member of the Security Industry Association, Bobby is a known and trusted name in this industry, and we're thrilled to have him leading business development as we scale."

— Tina D'Agostin, CEO, Alcatraz AI

The appointment comes at a data-driven moment for physical security. Alcatraz AI broke ground earlier this year with the first independent national survey on tailgating, which found that half of Americans have never used the term to describe a security breach despite how often it happens. Louissaint's mandate will include translating that data into new partnerships across the hyperscale, enterprise and executive-protection markets Alcatraz AI serves.

Louissaint is a frequent speaker at industry events, including SIA's Securing New Ground conference, and is active in workforce-development efforts within the industry, including the International Organization of Black Security Executives (IOBSE) and SCEA, the Security Coalition of Education and Advancement, a division of The Security Foundation (TSF).
