e.l.f. Beauty (NYSE: ELF) has launched the third cohort of its Change the Board Game initiative, enrolling 22 executives in partnership with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the largest class since the program began in 2024.
The initiative aims to double the rate at which women and people of color are added to U.S. public company boards by 2027. Participants receive governance education, networking opportunities, and resources through NACD's Accelerate board readiness program.
According to a company press release, more than 60 executives have participated in the NACD Accelerate program through Change the Board Game since its launch. Applications grew fourfold compared to the prior year, and 58% of program graduates are now serving on boards.
"Creating more inclusive boardrooms requires intentionality," said Tarang Amin, Chairman and CEO of e.l.f. Beauty. "Through Change the Board Game, we're helping exceptional leaders gain the preparation, access and networks needed to secure board opportunities."
The 2026 cohort includes executives from across multiple industries who are preparing for corporate board service.
