Zentek adds two new board nominees for September meeting

Zentek Ltd. (NASDAQ: ZTEK) announced changes to its board of directors slate for the annual general and special meeting scheduled for September 25, 2025.
The company will nominate four directors, all independent: Eric Wallman, current board chair; John Snisarenko, current board member; and two new nominees, Matt Fontes and Pete Gettinby. Three current directors—Ilse Treurnicht, Lisa Sim and Wendy Ford—will not stand for re-election.
Matt Fontes, 40, serves as a partner and project manager at Catalyst Custom Modular Ltd. in British Columbia. He owns 53,234 Zentek shares, representing 0.05% of the company. Previously, he operated Fontes Homes and has experience in entrepreneurship and building innovation.
Pete Gettinby, 42, based in Dubai, UAE, previously worked as director of international development at RSK Environment Limited. He has no current shareholding in Zentek. His background includes renewable energy and market expansion across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the UK.
The meeting location has changed to Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP offices at 222 Bay Street, Suite 3000, Toronto, Ontario. Shareholders must use new "blue" proxy forms, as previous "white" forms will not be counted.
Zentek develops intellectual property technology focused on making products safer and more environmentally friendly. The company holds patents for its ZenGUARD platform, which enhances viral filtration for surgical masks and HVAC systems, and operates a production facility in Guelph, Ontario.
