ZEO ScientifiX adds nine physicians to medical advisory board

ZEO ScientifiX Inc. (OTCQB: ZEOX) announced the addition of nine physicians and scientific specialists to its Medical Advisory Board. The biologics research company said the new members represent disciplines including orthopedics, oncology, longevity science, pain management, plastic surgery, and advanced biologic therapies.



The newly appointed advisors include Andrea Asseff-Llanes, a dentist specializing in regenerative dental medicine; Elizabeth Parrish, founder and CEO of BioViva Sciences; Faryal Farooqi, a physician specializing in longevity medicine; Michael Swartzon, an orthopedic sports medicine physician; Mark Rosenberg, president of Advanced Medical Therapeutics; Constantino Mendieta, a plastic surgeon; Neel Amin, an anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist; David Karli, an orthopedic surgeon; and Jacob Sanchez, a certified registered nurse anesthesiologist.



The expanded board will provide guidance on scientific development, clinical protocols, and physician education initiatives, according to the company. Members will serve as faculty in ZEO ScientifiX educational programming, including the Physician-Led Patient Masterclass.



"Medicine has traditionally focused on treating disease after it appears," said Dr. George Shapiro, the company's Chief Medical Officer who chairs the Medical Advisory Board. "Our long-term goal is to better understand and influence the biological systems that drive aging itself."



ZEO ScientifiX operates from Nova Southeastern University's Center of Collaborative Research and focuses on research, development, and manufacturing of regenerative biologics. The company was named a semi-finalist in the XPRIZE Healthspan longevity prize competition.
