December 1, 2025 7:02 AM EST

Youlife Group Inc. (NASDAQ: YOUL) announced changes to its board of directors and management team, effective November 21, 2025, according to a company statement.

The company appointed Liqun Yao as a director and named her acting chief financial officer, replacing Lidong Zhu who resigned from both the board and CFO position. Yao joined a subsidiary of the China-based vocational education provider in August 2021 and currently serves as general manager of the finance department.

Youlife also appointed Jianming Yan as an independent director and chairman of the audit committee. Yan replaces Clement Ka Hai Hung, who resigned from the board. The company stated that both resignations did not result from disagreements with company operations, policies or practices.

Following these changes, Youlife's board will consist of seven directors, including three independent directors.

Yao previously worked as finance director at Shanghai Yuyuan Tourist Mart Co. from August 2015 to July 2021 and as a senior auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhong Tian Certified Public Accountants from February 2011 to August 2015. She holds a master's degree in accounting from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and is a certified public accountant in China.

Yan brings over 20 years of financial industry experience, including roles at various Chinese investment and securities firms. He holds an MBA from East China Normal University and is qualified as a sponsor representative and certified public accountant in China.

Youlife operates 25 vocational schools and 25 curriculum development projects across 37 cities in 16 Chinese provinces, providing services to blue-collar workers.
