Xali Gold appoints Chafika Eddine to board of directors

Xali Gold Corp. (TSXV: XGC) announced the appointment of Chafika Eddine to its board of directors, effective March 17, 2026.



Eddine brings more than 25 years of experience in the natural resources sector, including leadership roles in Peru and Latin America. She currently serves as a director of Solis Minerals since 2021 and previously held executive positions at Orla Mining, Hudbay Minerals, and Bear Creek Mining between 2005 and 2025.

"With more than 25 years of experience spanning the full mining lifecycle - from exploration and permitting through construction and production - including contributions to the development of five mining operations in Canada, Peru, and Mexico, Chafika brings valuable strategic perspective."



Eddine has served on industry boards including the Chamber of Mines of Panama from 2022 to 2025 and the Peru-Canada Chamber of Commerce from 2012 to 2018.



The company also announced it changed auditors from Saturna Group to Charlton & Co., effective March 12, 2026. The change was approved by the audit committee and board of directors, with no reportable events between the company and Saturna Group.



Xali Gold granted 5,000,000 stock options to directors, officers, consultants and employees at an exercise price of $0.25, expiring March 17, 2031.



The Vancouver-based company focuses on gold and silver exploration in the Americas, primarily developing the Pico Machay gold project in Peru and maintaining royalty agreements on the El Oro project in Mexico.
