WEBCO Industries appoints Brad Stoots to board of directors
Webco Industries, Inc. (OTC: WEBC) announced the appointment of Brad Stoots as a member of its board of directors, according to a company statement. The appointment increases the number of outside board members to four and total members to seven.
Stoots brings 40 years of public accounting experience, including roles as a partner in the Tulsa, Oklahoma office of Arthur Andersen LLP and as office managing partner for the Tulsa office of Grant Thornton LLP. He holds a degree from the University of Tulsa and has experience with manufacturing and SEC reporting corporations.
"Mr. Stoots has extensive knowledge in financial accounting and governance," said Dana S. Weber, Webco Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Mr. Stoots has great experience with manufacturing and SEC reporting corporations. Mr. Stoots is active in the Tulsa civic community. Mr. Stoots' career experiences make him a valuable addition to our Board."
Webco Industries manufactures and distributes carbon steel, stainless steel and other metal tubular products. The company operates five tube production facilities in Oklahoma and Pennsylvania and nine value-added facilities in Oklahoma, Texas, Illinois and Michigan.
