Visible Gold Mines appoints Carl Caumartin to its board
Visible Gold Mines Inc. (TSXV: VGD) (FRANKFURT: 3V41) has appointed Carl Caumartin, P.Eng, MBA, to its board of directors, replacing Joël Gagné, who resigned from the board.
Caumartin brings more than 35 years of experience in mining exploration, project evaluation, feasibility studies, and open-pit and underground operations, with a focus on precious and base metals. He holds a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering from Queen's University and an international MBA from the University of Sherbrooke and E.S.S.C. Angers, France.
Most recently, Caumartin served as Vice President Exploration and General Manager at Winsome Resources, which he joined in November 2021. In that role, he was involved in the Adina lithium discovery in northern Quebec and a subsequent preliminary economic assessment.
Subject to regulatory approval, the company has granted Caumartin 100,000 stock options under its stock option plan, exercisable at $0.165 per common share for a period of 10 years from the date of grant, vesting immediately.
Visible Gold Mines is a mining exploration company focused on gold projects in the Abitibi Gold Belt and the James Bay region in Quebec.
