Virtus Investment Partners names Jack Boyce to its board

Virtus Investment Partners (NYSE: VRTS) has appointed John T. "Jack" Boyce to its Board of Directors and Audit Committee, according to a company statement.

Boyce, 66, most recently served as head of North America distribution for Insight Investment, where he oversaw strategic direction, business planning, and commercial operations across institutional and intermediary sales channels. He joined Insight Investment in 2018.

Before that role, Boyce was managing director and head of North American distribution at Standard Life Investments. He has also held senior positions at PineBridge Investments / AIG Global Investment Corporation, General Electric Asset Management, and AEGON / Diversified Investment Advisors.

Timothy A. Holt, chairman of Virtus' board, said Boyce "brings extensive experience in the asset management industry and in building client-focused organizations," adding that his "distribution and operating expertise will be a valuable resource."

Boyce holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and an honorary doctorate in business administration from Merrimack College, where he serves on the Board of Trustees and previously chaired the board from 2021 to 2023. He also serves on the board of the British American Business Council of New England.
