Versamet Royalties appoints Juan Presa to board of directors

Versamet Royalties Corporation (NASDAQ: VMET) (TSX: VMET) announced the appointment of Juan Presa to its board of directors, according to a company statement. Presa joins as a representative of Tether Investments S.A. de C.V., which holds the right to appoint a board representative under its investor rights agreement with the company.



Presa currently serves as General Counsel of Union Group since September 2020 and as Corporate Execution Manager at Tether since November 2025. His background includes advising companies in agriculture, mining, and financial technology sectors, with experience working with publicly listed companies on major exchanges including the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, and Toronto Stock Exchange.



The appointee holds a law degree from the Catholic University in Uruguay and a Master's Degree in M&A, Corporate, and Financial Direction from ISDE Law Business School in Madrid.



"We welcome Mr. Presa to our Board of Directors. His appointment further reflects Tether's continued support of our growing business," said Dan O'Flaherty, CEO of Versamet, according to the company statement.



Vancouver-based Versamet operates as a precious metals royalty and streaming company focused on acquiring assets in the sector. The company's shares trade on both the NASDAQ and Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol VMET.
