Vera Bradley appoints Ivan Brockman to board of directors

Vera Bradley Inc. (NASDAQ: VRA) announced the appointment of Ivan Brockman to its board of directors effective November 17, 2025.



Brockman currently serves as a senior advisor to PJT Partners, an investment bank, and previously was a partner in the firm's technology strategic advisory group in San Francisco. He joined PJT Partners at its inception in 2015 when it spun off from Blackstone.



Prior to PJT Partners, Brockman worked at Blackstone's strategic advisory group and served on the firm's Innovations Investment Committee. His investment banking experience includes roles as co-head of West Coast Technology Investment Banking for Citigroup and vice president with Goldman Sachs' TMT investment banking group in Silicon Valley and San Francisco. He began his career practicing corporate securities law at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.



According to the company, Brockman has advised on transactions totaling over $100 billion with companies including Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Oracle, Verizon, SAP, Dell, HP, Intel, and others.



Brockman also participates as a limited partner in private equity, growth, real estate, and venture funds, and invests directly in technology and consumer startup companies. His early-stage investments have included LifeLock, FIGS, and Influential.

Vera Bradley, based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, designs women's handbags, luggage, travel items, fashion accessories, and gifts. The company operates through two segments: Vera Bradley Direct, which includes retail stores and websites, and Vera Bradley Indirect, which sells to approximately 1,100 specialty retail locations.
