Triad Business Bank adds Brent Burgess to its board
Triad Business Bank (OTC Pink: TBBC) has appointed Brent Burgess to its board of directors, according to a company statement.
Burgess is managing partner, co-founder, and a member of the investment committee at Concentric, a private investment firm that provides debt and equity capital to U.S. companies. He has more than 30 years of experience as an investor across private and public investment firms.
Before Concentric, Burgess co-founded Triangle Capital Corporation, where he led $2.3 billion in investments across 165 private companies and helped take the company public in 2007. He has also served on advisory boards at Cypress Hills Partners, Granville Advisers, and Harbor Capital.
Burgess holds a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Regina in Canada and an MCS/MA from Regent College/University of British Columbia, where he received the Board of Governor's Prize.
"Brent's insight and understanding of investing will allow us to strengthen and expand our relationships in the Small Business Investment Companies (SBIC's) industry," said Ramsey Hamadi, chief executive officer of Triad Business Bank.
Triad Business Bank operates three offices in Winston-Salem, High Point, and Greensboro, North Carolina, serving small to midsize businesses.
