Thomson Reuters elects 14 directors including two newcomers

Thomson Reuters (NASDAQ: TRI) announced that all 14 nominees were elected to its Board of Directors at the company's annual shareholder meeting held June 10, 2026, according to a press release statement.
Michael Medline and Liz Hilton Segel joined the board as newly elected directors. The elected directors will serve until Thomson Reuters' next annual meeting of shareholders or until a director resigns or a successor is appointed.
The voting results showed strong shareholder support across all nominees. Liz Hilton Segel received the highest approval rate at 99.96% of votes cast, while David Thomson received 98.20% support and Peter J. Thomson received 97.17%.
Shareholders also re-appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the company's auditor and approved an advisory resolution on executive compensation. A shareholder proposal outlined in the management proxy circular was not approved.
The complete voting results will be filed with Canadian securities regulatory authorities and furnished to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
