Therma Bright Inc. (TSXV: THRM) (OTCQB: TBRIF) (FSE: JNX0) appointed Michael Raimondo to its board of directors, the medical device technology company announced. Raimondo previously served on the company's advisory board since August 2024.

Raimondo brings three decades of healthcare industry experience, including senior leadership positions at Abbott where he focused on commercial strategy and business development. The company stated he has led negotiations resulting in over $500 million in sales contracts during his career.

He currently serves as commercial lead for Delphine Diagnostics in New Jersey and as managing partner at The Potentia Group, which provides negotiations training and sales leadership development in the healthcare market. Raimondo holds a bachelor's degree in physics from Kutztown University.

"Michael's deep industry knowledge will assist Therma Bright to accelerate market penetration and to drive sales growth of Venowave, our flagship medical device," said CEO Rob Fia.

Raimondo said his focus will be on building an internal sales team and expanding distribution channels through partnerships with medical device resellers. He referenced the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data showing 900,000 Americans suffer from deep vein thrombosis annually as a target market for the Venowave device.

The company also announced the resignation of board member Alex Saringer. Therma Bright develops diagnostic and medical device technologies and trades on multiple exchanges including the TSX Venture Exchange.
