The Andersons names TreeHouse Foods CEO Steven Oakland to board

The Andersons, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANDE) appointed Steven Oakland to its board of directors, effective August 21, according to a company statement.

Oakland serves as chairman, CEO, and president of TreeHouse Foods, Inc., described as North America's largest private label food and beverage producer. He joined TreeHouse as a director in March 2018 and became CEO and president the same month. Oakland was named chairman in April 2023.

Oakland brings nearly 40 years of food and beverage industry experience to The Andersons board. He previously served as vice chair and president of U.S. food and beverage for The J.M. Smucker Company, where he held various senior positions including president of coffee and food service, president of international food service, and president of U.S. retail operations for Smucker's Jif and Hungry Jack brands.

His board experience includes serving on Foot Locker's board from 2014 to 2025, where he chaired multiple committees. Oakland currently sits on the boards of TreeHouse Foods and FMI, The Food Industry Association.

"Steve brings a vast amount of industry knowledge and a strong tenure of leadership experience that make him an excellent addition to our board of directors," said Chairman Pat Bowe in the statement.

The Andersons operates as a North American agriculture company in the agribusiness and renewables sectors, based in Maumee, Ohio.
