Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC) has appointed Bernd Leukert to its board of directors, effective August 1, 2026, according to a company statement.
Leukert will serve as a Class II director, with his term expiring at the 2027 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. He will also join the board's Nominating and Governance Committee. The appointment is part of the board's previously announced refreshment plan, which expands the board from nine to ten directors and increases Class II directors from three to four.
Leukert has held senior roles in technology and financial services. Most recently, he served at Deutsche Bank AG as head of the bank's global technology, data, and innovation initiatives. Prior to that, he spent several decades at SAP, where he was a member of its Executive Board with responsibility for SAP's technology portfolio and digital business services.
He currently serves on supervisory and advisory boards of several organizations, including Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA, BP p.l.c., Lemongrass, Workday, and Celonis. Leukert holds a degree from Trinity College Dublin and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Karlsruhe.
Mike Gianoni, Chairman of the Board, said: "Identifying an individual of Bernd's caliber with his technical and customer success track record has been a priority of our refreshment efforts, and his unique perspectives will be immediately additive."
