Temas Resources Corp. (ASX:TIO)(CSE:TMAS)(OTCQB: TMASF)(FSE:26P0) announced the appointment of Dr. Santiago Faucher to its Scientific Advisory Board to support its Regenerative Chloride Leaching technology development.

Dr. Faucher brings over 30 years of experience in process development and commercialization across mining, metallurgical, polymer, coatings, cement and biomass sectors. He currently serves as President of Insight R&D Inc., developing advanced process technologies for mining and metallurgical clients.

The Toronto-based chemical engineer holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and is an inventor on more than 60 U.S. patents. He previously served as President of the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineers and as an adjunct professor at McMaster University.

"His extensive experience in process development, hydrometallurgy and commercialisation at a global scale will be instrumental to Temas as we continue to advance and deploy our RCL technology," said Tim Fernback, President and CEO of Temas Resources.

As a Scientific Advisory Board member, Dr. Faucher will provide technical guidance on process optimization, scale-up strategies and evaluation of third-party mineral feedstocks for potential licensing and joint venture opportunities.

Temas' RCL platform is a hydrometallurgical process designed to extract metals from complex mineralization, concentrates, slags and tailings. The company states its technology operates at atmospheric pressure and lower temperatures compared to conventional chloride or sulphide processing routes.

The company completed pilot testing of approximately one ton of material from its La Blache titanium dioxide mineral property, producing 88 kilograms of 99.8% pure commercial grade titanium dioxide product, according to the press release.
