Teladoc Health (NYSE: TDOC) has appointed Mark V. Anquillare to its board of directors, the company announced. Anquillare is the former president and chief operating officer of Verisk Analytics, a data analytics and technology company serving the global insurance industry.
Anquillare will serve on the board's Audit and Compensation committees.
He brings more than 30 years of financial and executive leadership experience. He joined Verisk as chief financial officer in 2007, guiding the company through its 2009 initial public offering, before later serving as its chief operating officer.
Anquillare currently sits on the board of Guidewire Software, where he chairs the audit committee. He also serves on the boards of RegEd and Bamboo Insurance, and previously served on the board of TruBridge. He holds an MBA from Rutgers Business School and a BBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Kenneth H. Paulus, non-executive chairman of the Teladoc Health board, said Anquillare's experience in the insurance and analytics sectors, as well as his background guiding public companies, were factors in the appointment.
