TVS Motor names Peyman Kargar as CEO, effective January 2027

TVS Motor Company (BSE: 532343, NSE: TVSMOTOR) announced the appointment of Peyman Kargar as Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 27, 2027.

Kargar currently serves as President of International Business at TVS Motor Company. He brings more than three decades of automotive leadership experience across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Under his oversight, the International Business division grew to account for 29% of the company's total sales volume, with a growth rate of 33%.

Incumbent CEO K. N. Radhakrishnan will remain in his role until the transition date to ensure continuity, after which he will serve as Non-Executive Director until the company's annual general meeting scheduled for July 2027.

The leadership change follows a period of reported growth for TVS Motor Company. In its 2025-26 fiscal year, the company sold 5.9 million vehicles globally and recorded 30% revenue growth.

Chairman Sudarshan Venu said in a statement: "Peyman is an accomplished global leader with deep industry experience, strategic vision and a strong understanding of customers and markets."

Kargar said of his appointment: "It is a privilege to be appointed as Chief Executive Officer of TVS Motor Company. Building on our momentum, we are entering into a new phase of growth, expanding our presence and further consolidating our position in India and global markets."

TVS Motor Company manufactures two- and three-wheelers and operates across more than 90 countries, with manufacturing facilities in India and Indonesia. The company is part of TVS VENU and also owns Norton Motorcycles, based in the United Kingdom.
