TLGY and StablecoinX name advisory board members for merger
TLGY Acquisition Corp. (OTC: TLGYF) and StablecoinX Assets Inc. announced members of SC Assets' Strategic Advisory Board following their previously announced business combination agreement. The advisory board will be chaired by Rob Hadick, General Partner at Dragonfly.
The advisory board includes Kyle Samani, Managing Partner at Multicoin Capital; Nic Carter, Founding Partner at Castle Island Ventures; Diogo Mónica, General Partner at Haun Ventures and Co-Founder of Anchorage Digital; and Joshua Lim, Global Co-Head of Markets at FalconX.
According to the companies, advisory board members will serve as ambassadors for SC Assets and the Ethena Protocol, performing activities such as speaking to media, posting on social media, and educating the public about the stablecoin market.
TLGY is a special purpose acquisition company that focuses on growth companies through private equity-style value creation. StablecoinX Assets is described as a newly-formed validator and infrastructure business built to support the Ethena ecosystem.
Young Cho, CEO of SC Assets and TLGY, stated the advisors bring experience across digital asset infrastructure, protocol development, and global trading markets. The company expects to become a digital asset treasury platform following the transaction.
The Ethena Foundation serves as steward of the Ethena protocol, which operates behind the USDe and USDtb digital dollars. Marc Piano, Director at the Ethena Foundation, said the advisory board formation responds to demand for exposure to both the Ethena ecosystem and StablecoinX's ENA treasury strategy.
The companies have filed a registration statement on Form S-4 with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with the transaction. TLGY shareholders will vote on the business combination at an extraordinary general meeting.
