T2 Metals Corp. (TSXV: TWO) (OTCQB: TWOSF) (FSE: WJ6) has appointed Floyd North, Headman and Project Director of the Kiciwapa Cree Nation, to its advisory board, according to a company statement.

North brings more than two decades of experience in community leadership, resource management and economic development across mineral exploration, mining and forestry in Manitoba. He was born and raised in Sherridon, Manitoba, where T2 Metals operates its Sherridon polymetallic project, which sits within the Kiciwapa Cree Nation's traditional territory.

T2 Metals and the Kiciwapa Cree Nation signed an Exploration Agreement in 2022, establishing a framework for cooperation, employment, community training and local economic participation at the Sherridon project. The company describes the agreement as the first of its kind signed in Manitoba.

T2 Metals is also a co-owner, alongside the Kiciwapa Cree Nation, of Mamawewin Productions, a film production company focused on documenting the history and experiences of the Kiciwapa community. The first episode of its documentary series, Our Land, Our Future, was released in 2025, with a second episode currently in production.

The Sherridon project is located approximately 65 kilometres northeast of Flin Flon within the Flin Flon-Snow Lake Greenstone Belt. The project holds multiple NI 43-101 copper-rich mineral resources across four deposits and includes two past-producing mines. T2 Metals has received more than $500,000 in funding for the project from the Manitoba Mineral Development Fund.

North said in the statement that he respects T2 Metals' approach to community engagement and mineral exploration, and expressed hope that a mine could be developed at Sherridon, creating long-term economic opportunities for the Kiciwapa Cree Nation and the broader Manitoba community.
