Syntiant adds two directors to board

Syntiant Corp. announced the appointment of Adam Spice and David Lam to its board of directors. The Irvine, California-based company provides low-power physical AI solutions.
Spice serves as chief financial officer of Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ: RKLB) and has been with the space company since 2018. He brings more than 25 years of financial and operational experience in aerospace and technology sectors. Before joining Rocket Lab, Spice held the CFO position at MaxLinear, Inc. and senior roles at Broadcom and Intel.
Lam serves as chief investment officer of Lam Frontier Technologies and brings more than 25 years of global technology investment experience. He previously worked as a general partner at Atlantic Bridge Capital for over a decade and began his investment career at The Carlyle Group. Lam has experience funding companies across the semiconductor ecosystem, including AI processors, advanced sensors, and power semiconductors.

According to the company, Syntiant has deployed more than 100 million Neural Decision Processors and machine learning models, along with billions of MEMS microphones and sensors. Founded in 2017, the company develops processor, sensor and software solutions for speech, audio, sensor and vision processing applications.
