Sinda Ltd. (NYSE: SIND), a silver exploration and development company based in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, announced several leadership changes, including a new board appointment and executive team adjustments.
Effective October 12, 2026, the company expanded its Board of Directors from eight to nine members, appointing Alberto Zinser, a partner at Mexican law firm Zinser, Esponda y Gómez Mont. Zinser has served on Sinda's Advisory Board since 2021.
Effective October 13, 2026, Scott Cole was appointed interim Chief Financial Officer, replacing Luis Barreto, who is departing the role. Cole previously served as Sinda's Vice President of Finance and holds more than 30 years of experience in finance and accounting, including prior roles at ASARCO–Grupo México and BHP Copper.
Also effective October 13, 2026, Alvaro Gomez was appointed Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Development. Gomez joins Sinda after more than eight years at Newmont Corporation, where his most recent role was Chief Advisor to the Chief Financial Officer.
Executive Chairman Daniel Muñiz attributed the changes to the company's transition following its IPO on the NYSE. "Scott has already made significant contributions to Sinda, and his appointment as interim Chief Financial Officer represents strict continuity within our management team as we execute on our business plan," Muñiz said in a statement based on the press release.
