Shimmick Construction director to retire after 45-year tenure

Shimmick Construction (NASDAQ: SHIM) announced that Steven Richards notified the board of directors on March 20, 2026, of his intention to retire from the board effective at the end of his term at the company's 2026 annual meeting of stockholders.
Richards served the company for 45 years, including a role as chief executive officer from March 2020 through December 2024. He guided the company through its November 2023 initial public offering.
The company expects to reduce the size of its board to five members following Richards' retirement, according to the statement.
