SciSparc shifts focus to agentic AI, forms advisory board
SciSparc Ltd. (Nasdaq: SPRC), a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company based in Tel Aviv, Israel, announced that its board of directors has decided to target the agentic artificial intelligence market.
As part of the initiative, the company said it is establishing a Scientific Advisory Board focused on AI and cybersecurity. SciSparc said it is currently evaluating opportunities and is in discussions with several companies active in the agentic AI field, though no specific agreements have been disclosed.
SciSparc currently operates through its majority-owned subsidiary NeuroThera, which is engaged in clinical-stage pharmaceutical development based on cannabinoid pharmaceuticals, including drug development programs using THC and CBD for conditions such as Tourette syndrome, Alzheimer's disease, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and epilepsy.
The company noted in its press release that it may ultimately not identify any viable opportunities in the agentic AI field and may not realize the opportunities contemplated by the formation of the advisory board.
