Scandium Canada names Noel Dubé to its board of directors

Scandium Canada Ltd. (TSXV: SCD) announced the appointment of Noel Dubé, P.Eng., to its board of directors and as strategic advisor to its subsidiary Scalium+, effective September 21, 2026, according to a company statement.

Dubé brings more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector. He previously served as president and chief executive officer of Reflex Photonics from October 2013 to November 2019. He was also a co-founder, vice president of sales and business development, and board member of R/D Tech Inc., where he held executive roles from 1990 to 2005 as the company grew from C$2 million to C$180 million in revenue, expanding to 600 employees and 12 offices across multiple countries.

Jeff Swinoga, chairman of the board of Scandium Canada, said Dubé has advised the company since 2024 and brings experience in scaling technology businesses and commercializing technical products internationally.

In connection with the appointment, the company granted Dubé 500,000 stock options under its stock option plan. Each option carries an exercise price of $0.22 per common share, with a five-year term ending September 21, 2031. The options vest at a rate of approximately 1/36 per month beginning at the end of the month following the grant date. The grant remains subject to final approval by the TSX Venture Exchange.
