Safety Shot Inc. (NASDAQ: SHOT) appointed three new board directors as part of a strategic board refresh announced Tuesday. The company named Connor Klein, an investment partner at New Form Capital; Stacey Duffy, a financial due diligence expert; and Jamie McAvity, co-founder and CEO of Bitcoin miner Cormint Inc.

The appointments expand the board to seven members, with the four most recent appointments giving new members aligned with the company's BONK Holdings subsidiary a majority. The changes coincide with the resignations of Jordan Schur as president and board member, and Rich Pascucci from the board.

Klein works in investments across financial infrastructure and decentralized finance at New Form Capital and previously served in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. Duffy has led complex transactions for corporate and private equity clients at firms including Alvarez & Marsal and KPMG. McAvity has scaled Cormint to 130MW of Bitcoin mining capacity and previously served on the management team of Knock Inc., which was acquired by Realpage in 2022.

The board changes align with Safety Shot's strategy centered on its BONK Holdings subsidiary following integration with letsBONK.fun. The company operates both a beverage division with the Sure Shot beverage designed to reduce blood alcohol content and YerbaƩ energy drinks, alongside its digital asset operations.

"Their collective expertise in DeFi, institutional finance, and scaling high-growth technology companies will be invaluable as we execute on our vision for BONK Holdings," said CEO Jarrett Boon in the company's statement.
