SOLAI receives NYSE compliance notice, names new board member
SOLAI Limited (NYSE: SLAI) received notification from the New York Stock Exchange that the company does not meet continued listing standards due to its share price falling below $1.00 for 30 consecutive trading days ending January 28, 2026.
The cryptocurrency infrastructure company has six months to regain compliance by achieving a closing price of at least $1.00 and maintaining an average closing price of $1.00 over 30 consecutive trading days by the end of any calendar month during the cure period. The notice does not immediately affect trading of the company's American Depositary Shares on the NYSE.
SOLAI announced board changes effective immediately. Qian Sun resigned as an independent director for personal reasons, with no disagreement cited with the board. The company appointed Zhan Chen as an independent director to replace Sun on the audit committee, nominating and corporate governance committee, and strategy committee.
Chen founded Open Mouth Food Inc. in 2025, where he serves as CEO of the premium food company. He previously served as CEO of Boba Labs Inc. from 2022 to 2024 and Qin Yan Tech from 2017 to 2019. Chen holds a bachelor's degree from East China University of Political Science and Law and completed executive education programs at Tsinghua University and China Europe International Business School.
The company notified the NYSE on February 10, 2026, of its intent to regain compliance with minimum price requirements. SOLAI operates as a technology-driven cryptocurrency infrastructure company that has expanded from crypto mining to include blockchain-based services spanning artificial intelligence, stablecoins, payment infrastructure, and Solana treasury operations.
