SES AI adds Paul Diemer to its board of directors

SES AI Corporation (NYSE: SES) has appointed Paul Diemer to its board of directors, according to a company press release.

Diemer currently serves as Senior Vice President of Corporate Engineering at Generac Power Systems. He previously held the role of Chief Technology Officer for Flex's Power business, where he led global research and development and technology organizations for embedded and critical power systems for AI datacenters, overseeing more than 1,000 engineers across 14 countries. He also previously oversaw new electric vehicle product architectures at BorgWarner.

"We are pleased to add Paul to the Board. His extensive experience directing technology strategy in the data center infrastructure and energy storage space should provide meaningful insight and guidance as we continue to execute on our growth plans," said Dr. Qichao Hu, SES AI founder and CEO.

SES AI is a battery developer and manufacturer headquartered in Woburn, Mass., with operations in Singapore, Shanghai, and Seoul.
